Control your Yoto players and groups
Use YotoMediaManager to choose a player connected to your Yoto account and play your playlists. Connect your account before using these controls.
Choose a player
Connect your account, open Players, and refresh the data with Refresh from Yoto. Select the player you want to control. Actions apply to that player.
A player must be connected to receive a command. If its state looks outdated, refresh again and check its Wi-Fi connection.
In the Playing on “…” card, pick one of your Yoto playlists, then choose Play on this player. The same card has pause/resume and stop buttons, the volume slider, the night-light colors (Night light) and the sleep timer (Sleep timer). To open, edit or delete a Yoto playlist, use Playlists.
Understand confirmations
Sending a command does not always mean playback or a setting change has been confirmed. The result may report that a command was sent, accepted by the player, or observed in its state. Check the displayed result and player state before repeating an action.
Some features, such as lighting or Bluetooth, depend on the model and the API's capabilities. An unavailable feature shows an explanation. Detailed state may require an additional permission.
Settings and shortcuts
The player's settings are read as soon as you select it. Day and night shows the start time, maximum volume, screen brightness and light color of each mode; switch between Day and Night, adjust the values, pick the light color from the swatches, then choose Save these settings. If the settings could not be read, choose Read the settings.
Rarer settings (player name, headphones, automatic shutdown) are under More settings. Raw Yoto values, shortcuts and technical commands appear there only when Advanced mode is on in Account; restarting a player asks for confirmation first.
Day and night shortcuts are shown separately. Changing one does not erase the other. Saving an empty selection for one mode explicitly removes its shortcuts. Some predefined Yoto shortcuts may be visible but cannot be edited.
Organize groups
In Family groups, create a group or choose Edit. Give it a name, select the creations to include, and use the arrows to adjust their order. Save the group when your selection is complete.
Choose Add an image to send an image from your computer, or Choose from your images to pick one of your family's images from their previews. Yoto does not allow removing the image of an existing group, so Remove the image is only offered while creating one. Close closes the editor without saving.
Deleting a group removes that organization. It does not delete your original audio from the local library.
